  • Clownin' Around:
    Bringing Interactive Art to School

When asked to share my artwork with students at a local elementary school, I wanted to create an interactive booth where kids could get a taste of the whimsy side of interaction design. To accomplish this, I coded a facial-recognition program in Processing which allows students to virtually “wear” a clown nose, moustache, or sunglasses. Printed screen-captures served as take-home treats for the students.
